Additionally, please submit the following information attached to a single email message if possible. The subject of the email should be “High School Scholarship Application” and you should start the message with “Name: FIRST_NAME LAST_NAME”

An official high school transcript (that includes grades up to and including first semester of the current year) must be forwarded directly to IAHS from the administration of the applicant's current school. Please indicate in your email whether this transcript will be emailed or sent by mail.
A copy of the official notification from the college/university of student acceptance must be submitted
An official student commitment to attend the college/university of acceptance must be submitted (i.e. enrollment form, copy of cancelled checks, etc.)
Personal Profile: Note Applicant Name: In 100-150 typed words provide a personal profile which highlights your accomplishments, activities, and interests both in and out of school. Also, indicate your future goals.
Essay: Note Applicant Name: Tell us in your own words about an Italian or Italian-American who is renowned for his or her work in the arts, sciences, history, literature, or sports. Please type the essay and use one page only.

The above form and information must be submitted via email no later than midnight Eastern Standard Time of Friday-May 17, 2024 (NO EXCEPTION TO THIS DEADLINE). An incomplete application will not be considered. Use the following checklist as a guide to monitor that all application requirements are met:

A completed IAHS scholarship application
A personal profile (as outlined above)
An essay (as outlined above)
A copy of the official notification from the college/university of student acceptance
An official student commitment to attend the college/university
An official high school transcript (that includes grades up to and including first semester of the current year) must be forwarded directly to IAHS from the administration of the applicant’s current school
